CrossFit is the principal strength and conditioning program for many police academies and tactical operations teams, military special operations units, champion martial artists, and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes worldwide.

Our program delivers a fitness that is, by design, broad, general, and inclusive. Our specialty is not specializing. Combat, survival, many sports, and life reward this kind of fitness and, on average, punish the specialist.

The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. We’ve used our same routines for elderly individuals with heart disease and cage fighters one month out from televised bouts. We scale load and intensity; we don’t change programs.

The needs of Olympic athletes and our grandparents differ by degree not kind. Our terrorist hunters, skiers, mountain bike riders and housewives have found their best fitness from the same regimen.

Thousands of athletes worldwide have followed our workouts posted daily on this site and distinguished themselves in combat, the streets, the ring, stadiums, gyms and homes.

So you are interested in training with us and want to know how to get started?  You have some options:

    1) If you are new to CrossFit, you can come in and join us for a free workout at any of the scheduled class times (Click here to see class schedule) and/or talk to one of our trainers to see if this program is for you.

    2) If you already know that this is what you want to do, you can still come in for a free workout, check out our facility, and schedule your fundamentals classes.

    3) Or you can just contact us to schedule your fundamentals classes. (Click here for fundamentals class registration)

During your fundamentals classes we will discuss your goals & objectives, explain what you can expect of the trainers at CrossFit Utah Valley and what we will expect of you.  After that, we will begin to teach you the fundamental movements of CrossFit.  At the end of each session, we will take you through a short fitness assessment.  There are a few goals of the fundamentals classes.  At a minimum, we want to ensure that your mechanics are sound with these basic movements.  If you are solid on these basic movements with a moderate amount of loading, this time will be spent teaching you more complex movements.  From there you’ll progress to CrossFit group classes and experience the intensity and community CrossFit is famous for. Still not sure? Click here to see what our members have to say about their experiences at CrossFit Utah Valley.
